Yes. Oh yes. Ughhh……….
-
Well, the scene in John Carpenter’s The Thing where Dr. Copper gets his arms bitten off by the torso of Norris is definitely high ranking.
Also, pretty much any scene from Aliens. -
I was right around four or five when I saw a few scenes from Nightmare On Elm Street 4 on TV. As for it’s effect, I’d say that it laid the foundation for my love of horror today! - Jonny B.
-
Thanks to Special Agent Dale Cooper, it’s going to have to be cherry pie.
-
First off, I find it strangely creepy that your profile picture makes it look like Kermit the Frog is asking this question.
Second, it’s not actually a remake but rather a prequel. But yeah, I’m definitely going to be checking it out! -
To put it mildly! Ghostbusters is a perfect example of horror, comedy, and adventure all rolled into one package. Such a good movie!
-
Completely! For instance, we have user reviews because the voice of our readers is extremely important to us.

[REC] and Troll Hunter spring to mind. I’d check those out and see what you think!
-
Well, a demon possessing my body has a good shot at causing this.
-
Why do I need to be a dog to do that?
-
People say I’m a scream! (I’m alternating between laughing really hard at that pun and hanging my head in shame)
-
Completely agree. In horror, the soundtrack can mean the difference between creating suspense and destroying it. But as for general listening, I can’t count the number of times that music has given me goosebumps or sent shivers up and down my spine. - Jonny B.
-
Even though there is a spate of horror remakes going on right now, there is always something fresh and original to enjoy. [REC] was a great surprise as was Troll Hunter, Let The Right One In, and Insidious. And even though it’s a shameless self promotion (lol), we really do try and bring new and interesting horror with our Bloody-Disgusting Selects films.

Oh man, I read all of those back in High School. I also read Squee, I Feel Sick, Lenore, etc… Slave Labor Graphics was my go to comic book company for a while - Jonny B.
-
All of them. On a regular basis.
-
Wes Craven, because it was Nightmare On Elm Street that got me into horror movies when I was a wee young ‘un. - Jonny B.
-
You probably hit the nail on the head right there. Lars Von Trier’s Antichrist was also pretty crazy.
-
I’m ready for Atrocious, which is showing in select AMC theaters tonight!
